The latest update to the Uptrick: TrendVol Indicator introduces significant enhancements that refine trend analysis, volatility measurement, and visualization. This update improves on multiple aspects of the script, including moving average calculations, slope-based trend determination, divergence detection, and mean reversion signals.

One of the key improvements is the introduction of dual moving averages—a primary moving average (fast) and a secondary moving average (trend) with customizable periods. The update also adds slope calculations for both moving averages, allowing traders to visualize trend direction more effectively. The slope of the secondary moving average is now used for bar coloring, providing clearer trend visualization.

A new volatility section includes an Average True Range (ATR) calculation, giving traders insights into market fluctuations. Additionally, a metrics table has been introduced to display essential data, such as price distance from the moving average, ATR values, and moving average levels, all within an easy-to-read format.

The update also enhances divergence detection, adding labels for bullish and bearish divergences based on pivot highs and lows. This feature helps traders spot potential reversal points when price action diverges from the distance between the price and moving averages.

Another significant addition is the mean reversion buy and sell signal feature. This optional setting identifies potential trading opportunities when the price moves significantly away from the primary moving average, measured in ATR multiples. When enabled, buy and sell signals appear on the chart when price deviates beyond a predefined threshold.

Other improvements include bar coloring customization, allowing users to select whether bars are colored based on moving average slope or trend direction. The script now plots the secondary moving average with an improved visual effect, using transparency to emphasize its slope. Furthermore, the update removes the previous background-based trend indication and replaces it with a more precise system for identifying trends.
